This is a simple HOW TO GUIDE on how to install printer driver for USB HP LaserJet P2015DN.

Assuming you lost the CD for your HP LaserJet P2015DN printer driver, don't worry we can get another copy from the HP website. The easiest way to find this driver is to search using any internet search engine e.g. google.com or bing. In this example, I am using Google search engine to find the HP driver specifically for HP LaserJet P2015DN.

To save you some clicks, here's the search engine results for "HP LaserJet P2015DN" printer driver. Scroll down 'till you see the Driver - Universal Print Driver. You will see three different drivers for you to download. The following description are listed below.

  • HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL5
  • HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL6
  • HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PostScript
I downloaded the HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL6 driver, and extract this to my workstation TEMP directory. If you don't have the TEMP directory, simply create new folder. Find the Install file, double click the install the printer drivers. If the program did not find your plug and play printer, you may search it. You need to configure the local USB HP LaserJet P2015DN using USB port, and you can test it.

If this doesn't work for you, try the remaining two print drivers. In my test environment, I was able to install this HP driver and successfully print.

I hope this help out. Let me know.
